So the classes I have locked in junior year are
AP Lang
AP US
AP Environmental
Regular Pre Calc
Honors Band
Regular History of TV
First off is this schedule doable and second I’m unsure whether to take honors Spanish 4 regular Spanish 4 or drop Spanish altogether. I took regular Spanish 3 as they couldn’t fit honors in my schedule so I feel like I’d be super behind in honors so I’m really not sure what the best strategy would be
Take regular Spanish IV if you plan on applying to competitive universities, which often expect four years of Spanish.
Also, if you haven’t taken physics, chem, or bio yet, you might want to do that if you’re applying to any schools that recommend having all three (which seem to be pretty common).
I’m taking physics senior year because I didn’t want to do AP physics (I’m not a huge math guy) and wanted a third AP junior year
If I could get any more opinions that’d be great
Competitive colleges generally want to see AP chem or bio. I assume you will take AP calc next year which also looks good. Spanish 4 definitely looks nice, but it all depends on what else your school offers.
Take Spanish 4 regular, it’s better than no Spanish, but ask your current teacher to see if you could get into Spanish Honors and do well, or if it’s better that you take Spanish regular.
All in all it’s a good, solid schedule.
