Junior year, I plan to take 6 AP classes:
-AP Physics B
-AP Chemistry
-AP Calc AB
-AP Statistics
-AP Psychology
-AP US History

What do you think? Has anyone managed 6 AP classes? Was it a tremendous workload? Were you able to manage between clubs and sports? Is it common to take 2 AP science classes in one year? (Should I switch from AP Chem to AP Bio?)

I would say drop one of the AP sciences and one of the AP maths, add AP english, and take the AP maths/sciences that you dropped senior year when you’ll have more free time in your schedule…
Are you on track for required credits (art, gym, health, etc) at your school? Because you should get those out of the way before senior year as much as possible.

Are you a sophomore this year? I wasn’t too sure from your post. I’m a junior right now taking AP Stats, AP Chem, AP English, AP Spanish, and AP US History, and self-studying AP Human Geography and AP Psychology. Personally, your schedule is a lot tougher than mine especially with two sciences. Make sure you are really motivated because it’s tough. I totally agree with bernier93. Drop AP Physics, add AP English. Keep both Calc AB and Stats though but take Calc BC senior year, and AP Physics senior year

I got a pretty weird schedule
AP Stats
Chinese 2 Honors (switched from Spanish III last year H b/c I hated it, plus I’d really liek to learn Chinese)
AP Euro
English III…normal. NOt even honors >.>
Java Programming (no honors available, but this is a prereq for AP CS next year)
AP Calc BC (took AB last year, was a prereq)
