Junior Year Sucked

Is Junior year the hardest/most depressing/ all around most unpleasnt and least fun year at your school. It is at mine, and it's over for me. I was j/w because I hear different thingd about which year is the hardest.

I really didn't think it was that bad. I had a tough courseload and had to take all the standardized tests, but it was definitely not as bad as I thought it would be.

In my magnet program and mainstream school, it's the hardest because we have so much work and an all year research project to work on.

my sophomore year was probably more painful to me because i didn't have any ability to avoid courses in subjects i don't really enjoy.

my junior year was really easy actually. APs are way overrated, and I go to the toughest private school in my state.I took 5 APs and did very little work, and it wasn't because I was "Smart" or anything. so don't stress out at all. just chill!

lol jimbob didnt u get a 2390? well that usually counts as smart...

but yea Junior for most people is much harder than the two previous years.

Junior year is for sure the hardest, but I did my best academically because I worked a lot harder, and weighted grades do help. It was the first time I was in the top 10%.

if ur in the ib program, it sucks. a lot. but ive heard that ap junior years arent that bad

I just got done with seventh grade. It was the worst year ever. Friends change. People become so *****y. Everyone tries to pick fights and insult people. The popular people are as fake as ever, and think they're awesome because they have Etnies. eww.

It was my toughest year, I worked a lot harder though. Try taking your standardized tests in the fall, I was so glad to not be freaking out over the SAT in AP season or when I had to work harder for grades.

my toughest year also but definitely not as bad as i thought it would be... tabularasa is totally right. i took my SATs in fall also and while everyone was studying for SATs, i was studying for my APs. and take SAT IIs gradually too. i did one frosh year, one soph year, and two junior year.. i ended up w/ really nice scores err except the frosh year one.

My toughest year so far, although I fully anticipate fall of senior year to equal being in hell.

At the beginning of the year, I had a tough time getting used to some of my classes. But once I settled down, it turned out to be out right. There were some rough spots, like the week before midterms, the week before AP tests, and the last couple weeks before school when I was stressing about physics.

In the end, though, I think my year was much easier than some people's. I got a job in the middle of it, but I didn't work that many hours at all.

"if ur in the ib program, it sucks. a lot. but ive heard that ap junior years arent that bad"

Not true. I'm in IB, ina school that is by far known as one of the toughest in my country, and it did not suck..and I did not slack off ( ended up with a 97 avg). It was great year. Great parties, great classes, great friends, it was awesome. Too bad next year is our last one, and then its off to the real world....buhu buhu :(

definetely toughest year...for me what made it suck was AP Chemistry...my other 3 ap's combined were easier than this one hellish class

coupled with the anxiety bulding up in wait of senior year and college apps...it truly was most difficult for me

I'm going into junior year this fall and i expect it to be TOUGH. At first I didn't because i was taking managable APs, calc ab, lang, ush, and phys b.
but surprise surprise schedule prob= straight to phys C!
quite scary what with sports and SATs coming but you know what. i think soph year was THE real transition year
im gonna kick junior year's a**!

Junior year was the worst. I had to take all the mandatory classes.

From what I've heard from my junior and senior friends, most consider junior year easier than senior fall when they have many piles of college essays and applications to do. What's most stressful about junior year is probably our attempt to get good grades for college.

Junior year has actually been my favorite so far. I got my license. I started getting more sleep, so I was less irritable and able to stay awake during class. While I drifted away from some friends, I got much closer with others and made some new ones as well. I did much better academically junior year as well, and now that the year is over I get to see all the hard work I've put in come together while I fill out my apps.

As for my schoolwork, well, no matter how heavy or light it is, I just deal with it and don't let is conflict with things like my social life. Plus my friends and I are in a lot of the same classes, so we studied together.

The best way to avoid being overloaded senior year is to do your apps during the summer. :)

Well, I am not a senior yet, but I can say without a doubt that junior year was by far the most difficult out of all my years. I had tests around the clock and it was just overwhelming.

junior year was the best for me. senior year sucked. too much drama. plus the anxiety of college apps.
