Junior Year: To AP or to not AP?

This is the first time I’ve made a post on here, so hopefully I’m doing all this right!

I am currently a sophomore in an online school, and will soon have to select what classes I’m taking. So, I’m hopefully taking one or two (up to three) AP courses junior year.
I brought AP classes up to my counselor and she mentioned that I am eligible for AP Lit, APUSH, and AP Chem. I’ve done pretty well in U.S. History as a core class this year, as well as American Literature and Biology. I’m particularly interested in taking AP Chemistry, though I haven’t taken any chemistry classes in the past, so that was a concern for me.

What do you all recommend? This is my first time taking any AP class; should I go for AP Chem + another, try for three classes, or avoid chem altogether? Thanks for any input!

What was your schedule like this year? Also, which classes would you be taking in addition to AP chem, lit, and APUSH?
AP chem is very difficult without prior knowledge- if you want to take it, I recommend doing a basic intro to chemistry course over the summer. That way, you can also determine if you like the subject- if you don’t, I wouldn’t recommend taking AP because you’ll basically be living and breathing chemistry for a year.
