<p>Anyone have experience with transferring to a prep school for junior year? After attending a mediocre private school in my area, I'm trying to look at other schools, though not necessarily boarding. My current school isn't selective at all and isn't offering competitive academics or opportunities that I want. I would appreciate if anyone could give me some advice as to whether or not a transfer for junior year would be a good idea (I'm currently entering sophomore year and did not have adequate time to apply to schools for the '09-'10 school year); also-which schools in the New England, especially MA area are generous with financial aid?</p>
