I am currently a junior and worried about college admissions.
Please chance me for chemical engineering schools at university of Minnesota, university of Wisconsin, umich, university of Illinois Urbana Champange , Caltech, Stanford
What can i do to improve my chances?
Really appreciate it!

Caltech and Stanford are obviously high reaches and not because of your GPA. The issue is whether your ECs distinguish you from the pack of other top students who are academically well qualified. I don’t mean to be discouraging, but you look very average for that group. On the positive side, you look good for the rest of your schools.

Agree that you look got for all but S and CIT. For those it will matter where you rank (they know by grade distribution data) and whether you can differentiate yourself.

If I get some differentiating extracurriculars will I have a shot

I unfortunately don’t think you can get some differentiating ECs junior year in most cases. We’re talking about a true passion you’ve pursued long term, not a school club.

This doesn’t mean you have no chance, just that you’ll need to figure out if you can tie what you’ve done together to form a picture of a world class candidate.

Is there a reason why Harvey Mudd isn’t on your list? Great school for engineering and part of the Claremont Consortium. The campuses of the 5 schools are adjacent giving Mudd the resources and diversity of a much larger school, with the personal attention of a LAC. Great weather, location similar to Caltech. I’d rank it a low reach/high match for you.
