Junior Year

Is it true that UCs don’t accept grades below a C?

That’s right, any D or F grades must be repeated for a C or higher in order for that course to count toward the a-g requirements.

A D in your junior year is going to kill your chances at getting into a mid tier/top tier UC, even if you do happen to make it up, since it’ll still appear on your transcripts. Not saying it’s impossible, but obviously it’s going to be very difficult unless you have a good story for it.

I do have a good story to back it up which includes my parents getting divorced, my grandpa’s brain tumor returning, and some mental obstacles all within one semester @Onikage34 . are UCs considerate of these challenges?
