Hello all,

I'm a raising Junior attending a private school and I pretty much have my heart set on MIT.

I would really love some advice on a few things, but first of all here are the classes I'm enrolled in:

AP World History
AP Physics C
AP English Language
CP French III (no honors available)
AP Art History
AP Economics
AP Psychology (1 semester, online course)
AP Calculus BC

If anyone has experience with any of these courses or has suggestions for other classes that I should take I would love to hear it. But I did choose every course listed for a reason and the entire schedule was thought out.

Also, I've been trying to look for some science, math and physics competitions or contests at the state or national level that I could participate in as well as some writing competitions.

(Science and writing have always been my two major passions)

I already know about the physics bowl, INTEL sci fair, Siemens, and plan on entering the Cal state science fair this year. I'm planning on taking the AMC 12, the SAT, and 5 SAT subject tests sometime this year (math ii, physics, french lang, world hist, literature).

If anyone knows of any other science/math/engineering/writing competitions I would love to find out about them.

Unfortunately, my freshman, sophomore ECs really aren't that great; I was a mock trial attorney, Link Crew Leader, tennis team member, and math honor society member during soph year and all of those seem kind of trivial now.

I would really, REALLY appreciate some advice regarding MIT and what they look for; I've been stalking their website for weeks but literary research can never compare to actual experience.

I know this is a really long/time consuming question and I'm sorry but I need help :/
