Junioritis

So second semester is here . uwGpa = 3.5ish? it'd be higher if i actually tried in school. Havent gotten the grades but thats a guestimate. i've had no school since like last tuesday. i want to go to a good college , GWU, Georgetown, Emory, Drexel(safety), bla bla blaaaa. i have the SAT in March and may . and 3 SAT IIs in June .. but i cant seem to do ANYTHING . i barely study (which is bad) and all i do is facebook, text, tumblr, play the Sims ..... like whenever i go to study, my mind can never stay focused !

any advice ?

Avoid using your computer. If you have homework assignments that require using Microsoft Word to type up an essay, do all of your homework that do not require a computer first before doing electronic homework. And even then, do not check your facebook or use any applications. You must just have the mindset that you must get your work done as soon as possible. If you really struggle with this, you could deactivate your facebook and force yourself to only use your phone for emergencies.

Disable your facebook. Don’t disconnect in like settings or something because it’s incredibly easy to get back in. Instead, have someone change your password. If you don’t trust anyone with you password then have yourself change half of it, and have someone else change the other half so that no one knows the full password. I did this at the beginning of second semester and my grades are absolutely amazing. It helps SO much. For Sims, lock up the CD somewhere and give someone else the key. i dunno what to do about texting and tumblr though. I don’t use tumblr and texting wasn’t a huge promlem. But anyways the facebook thing is SO helpful. Try it.

just deactivated it . the password thing sounds like a great idea but no ones home so i’ll do that later . thanks for the advice !

Lol yes. I started a blog about it a while ago, but honestly i got bored. maybe i’ll pick it up again, maybe not. But anyways if you wanna check it out: [The Facebook-less Experiment](http://facebooklessexperiment.blogspot.com/)

just checked it out . you should definately pick it up again! i think im gonna do the same, except it’ll be on tumblr. haha sorry for copying your idea but i think its cool

lmao I just got out of junioritis. Grades dropped in second quarter… working super hard this next semester.

Lol, thanks!. I kinda ran out of things to talk about once I established that living without facebook wasn’t awful. Hahah, I’ll probably write again today. And no problem. I’m flattered that you found it interesting enough to do the same. Definitely send me a link if you do start one!

okay so i subcribed to the blog, and immediately after, i typed in facebook.com out of habit; honestly, you would think facebook had like nicotine, the way it gets people addicted and sure , i’ll pm you the link :)

Hahah exactly! And cool, i’ll definitely check it out!

Whenever you think of going on Facebook, think of going to a community college! It always works for me, and I don’t even need to disable it!
