Dear junior self:

Don’t sign up for any AP exams because you’re not gonna study for any of them anyways!!

Sincerely,
Senior self.

I’m doing IB so no Ap’s in school, except for BC calc, for me like this year (we dual-coded for AP and IB this year), but I might self-study one or two. Might do Physics C Electricity and Magnetism (depending on how well I do on the Mechanics part next week) and maybe AP Environmental (I’ll be studying for the USABO, so there’s probably some cross coverage, plus its an easy test). SO BC calc, AP Physics C, and APES. Iffy about the last two.

Physics C
Calc BC
English Literature
Spanish
Euro History

…and sadly…an IB class :(…comp sci…

AP US Government & Politics
AP Psychology.

I’m taking English and Algebra at my local Community College, along with Sociology.

@Lolar7 - You can’t take AP Calc AB and BC the same year. It’s against the College Board rules.

David’s right… you can’t take both AB and BC exams the same year. In your case, I don’t see why you don’t just take the BC exam… it has an AB subscore. Kill two birds with one stone.

AP Chemistry
AP Statistics
AP US Government
AP German
AP Literature and Composition

comp sci will be pretty hard with little exp.

next year im taking physics c/bio/human geo/calc bc/ english/spanish/compsci and if i am up to it- self study living enviroment/art history.

@seekinguni: they can late test no?

Does anyone have experience with taking the Calc AB class (the only one my school offers) but self-studying the BC material to take the BC exam? This is what I really want to do.

@ChickenOnRice
No, the reason is not that they are at the same time, but rather that the College Board specifically disallows people from taking both in the same year.

You can take both Physics tests (actually all 3).

AP Lit and Comp

And if my schedule allows, AP Euro and AP physics. We have two semesters, so for most things I can only take the first half of the course (Honors Chem and Calc). But Euro may be first semester, which would mean that I can’t take it. Which would depress me.

No, it’s CollegeBoard policy not to be allowed to take them both in the same year.

o alright. thanks~

I’m taking english lit, euro, art history, bc calc, chem, and micro/macro econ… Depending on how I do on the physics B test tomorrow I might also self study for physics C. Haven’t self studied for any AP before, but my school doesn’t offer physics C. =[
