Junior's chances at Harvard?

Hi, I'm a junior at a competitive prep school...I'm a hard-worker and have excellent grade but my I scored low on my October SAT (1350)- I think it was just nerves and I will try again in January for a higher score...otherwise, my ecs are unique and my course load is the most competitive schedule ever in my school

If my SAT is a huge problem, what score should I am for? I'm getting tutored right now for January...

stop wasting everyone's time

have some fun in life, ur still in 11th grade

Oh, for being so rich, ur english is HORRIBLE

Out of curiosity, why Harvard?

I'm a junior too and I think ur nuts!!! College is, like, um..light years away. I agree that u should take it lightly. Have some fun!

U can get in just w/ the $$.. be sure to put in ur app that ur dad is a multimillionaire... SAT aim for above 1500... I've heard that Havard is the best university to apply to if u have $$..

Junior year too early to think of college? I don't advocate stressing over it, bt if you have Harvard-like hopes, freshman year is not too soon. Aim for a 1500 plus. Keep your grades up and pursue passions! Good luck!

Read the Harvard Early Admissions thread. You'll get a good idea there of what your chances are. And, remember there are over 3500 schools in the US - explore ALL the options.

You essentially have NO chance. Why you ask? Because you are a rather transparent grade-grubber, something that the ivy leagues desperately dislike. basically, enjoy yourself, because although it seems paradoxical, it will reflect better for Harvard (and they will find out, through recs and ecs, etc)

Yikes...your SAT is like totally killing you! I mean I some people get into Harvard with some exceptions if they have a 1350, but they either found the cure to cancer, or liked like in Africa helping AIDS patients or something...I mean give it a shot though :-)
