Junior year = easiest year. 4 AP classes too. SAT studying. ECs started getting intense. And I opted to stop doing homework. Still pulled 4.0 and all 5s. You people need to chill.

Junior year is easy, guys. All you need to do to succeed is finish your homework. Now, imagine taking even more APs, doing college apps on top of that, and having WAY harder classes. While still having the same amount of, if not more, homework. Senior year is junior year on steroids. Have fun!

Don't you guys think that the difficulty of each year is different for each school? For most people at my school freshman and junior years stink like a monkey's butt and sophomore and senior years aren't so bad.

Either way, I think we all need to vent a little... rawwwwwwwwwwwwrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!

if you're really into academics, have your heart set on upper-tier colleges, or want significant academic scholarships, your guidance counselor will recommend that you take a full load your senior year because colleges don't really like it when you totally give up senior year. no matter what anyone says, senior year still matters.

also, since you're a senior, the activities and sports you've invested a lot of time in (science team and mock trial for me, for instance) probably have officer positions that will be offered to you. who wants to miss out on that if it's a club you really enjoy?

but really, the reason why i find senior year so much more difficult than junior year is the stress that accompanies finding, applying to, and getting money for college. i formed a college list over the summer (after a couple of months of visits), and i started my applications after school started. but, my advice to juniors is to, at the end of the year, try to knock some application essays out of the way. the common app lets you write about whatever the heck you want (www.commonapp.org for more details) and there are scholarships juniors can apply for. this entire college process is making my senior year hell. i'd advise you youngsters to get a head start on it all if you can.

phew. i did not intend for that to be so long.

I hate my junior year. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

My gpa is a 97:) compared to last year when it was a 94.5

I hate my life, I do an average of 6-7 hours of homework a day, I am not sleeping properly. Who were the idiots that said High school is the best time of your life? God, I hate them....
I never EVER want to remember my high school years, EVER!

Im home for vacation after finishing up a week of exams. I'm sooooo scared about getting my fall term grades next week because I REALLY REALLY WANT TO GET A 90 and above average and I'm really really scared the exams, which I think I did OKAY on, might have a negative impact on my B/B+ average......
