theoneo- in which gov school are you a finalist? also do you know what day we find outtttt im getting impatient!

hmm did you two nj gov school applicants hear anything about corzine's new fiscal budget which doesnt include gov school anymore? as NJ gov school of sciences alum, that would be horrible if it were true which it sounds so right now.

oooo noooo....but that would probably be for next year because i dont think they would send us all letters being like "sorry we dont have funding..bye"

anyway how was the gov. school in the sciences??? id love to hear from someone who's gone

gov school of sciences was absolutely amazing. i would go again if i could. it is so different from hs but it is so fun. at drew, they let you walk off campus and go downtown and on buses and such so the freedom was always nice. not to mention that there are some awesome professors there. if you make it, you'll hate your senior year so much because you'll realize how horrible high school is in comparison. haha well the latter statement being subjective to type of high school you attend.

I'm a finalist for the environment school. Decisions are supposed to be available on the 29th (tomorrow). I think that means they mail the decisions then, though, so we'll probably get them in the mail on Friday, Saturday, or Monday. But last time when they had finalist decisions ready they emailed the administration at my school. So maybe they'll get the emails tomorrow and you can ask your science supervisor or guidance counselor (they both had the email last time). That's what I'm going to do.

Isn't Richard Stockton on a farm? I'm soo looking forward to that.

SSP. If I don't get into there, I'm going to China!

Boys' State, but that doesn't really count. I'm working for most of the summer.

I plan to go on a Missions Trip (10 days in the middle of July, so I probably couldn't attend most of the programs anyway, which is sort of a relief) to Belize (can't wait!), I'll probably enroll in some cc courses (gotta find some that I haven't taken that will interest me), and get a job and/or do some tutoring!

My D applied to Carnegie Mellon Pre-College and USC Summer Semminars.

Did any NJ Gov. finalists get their letters today? More specifically, Public Issues.

I'm gonna be volunteering in my State Reps. office, she's running for State Senate (to replace the outgoing MA House Minority Leader) so they need all the help they can get.
