Just 5 or 0,5, and 10

This is getting very intense and I would like to know the truth, if at all possible. So, is it just 5 for the mean=median question or is it 0,5,10? My two cents is that it's all three.

j12345s- It read which number would make the mean and median of the entire set equal to eachother, not which number would be both the mean and the median of the set.

It is all three. Look at the beginning of the main sat thread and you will see that it wasn't even debated.

at the beginning, there was a consensus. However, towards the end, a group of posters, 3-5, had the consensus that it was only 5. But thanks for the reassurance thedude, I was beginning to feel outnumbered in the latter half of the thread.

we shall wait for the scores :)

good call :)

Yeah, i could have sworn that it asked for a number that when added to the set would make it so that the median and the mean were equal. If that's the case, then the answer is all three.
