Alright, just a little background- I'm a current high school senior with not so great grades. After a few conversations with my guidance counselor over the past two weeks I've realized i don't have too many options for college. If i don't get into Umass Amherst, my next choice is bridgewater state, so i could go for a year or two and transfer. doing this would give me many more options of where to go (my favorite schools in the world are BC, NYU and Columbia, and they all seem to accept a good amount of transfers)

However, it's been eating at me lately. The social aspect. How difficult do people find it to make friends as sophomore transfers? What about as junior transfers? How do they do it? I've searched this up a lot, but people are always talking about specific college experiences. I'm just speaking in general.

I'm a very social person, and i HONESTLY feel like without a strong social life I would be destined to fail. Loneliness kills haha.

Appreciate any answers.
