Just a few questions

Generally, how many years do people take off after undergrad before applying to grad school? To work/intern/whatever?

Do most people not wait at all, and go straight for their MBAs?

What are good majors to major in for undergrad BESIDES business? I'm certainly applying to all business programs, but say as a "list a second major you'd be interested in at our school," type dealy. Or just things of that nature. Something that's generally LESS competitive than business.'

Are there really slim chances at getting into, say the top 15 business programs (grad) http://www.usnews.com/usnews/edu/grad/rankings/mba/brief/mbarank_brief.php , from schools like Penn State, UMD, UConn, Syracuse, Northeastern, etc.? You know, they're still ok undergrad business programs, but certainly, certainly, not the best. Considering you have sufficient GMAT, recs, GPA, experience, etc.

About how many years is grad school for fields such as Management/Leadership...

thanks :D

You can go from bumble sh**t college with a 4.0 and a high GMAT and get into HBS.

even more important than that 4.0 and GMAT is work experience. If after 4.0 and high GMAT you go to work as a store clerk at Wal-Mart, your not going to HBS. Period.

True you need some solid city internships.
