<li>I liked it for what it was worth. It was nice being around all 2nd years, and we had a lot of fun. Lot of crap went down too =P It was cheap, but livable, and you have to share a room, which can be good or bad. I'd probably live there again 2nd year if I had to chose, it was just easy. But third year is definitely the time to move away.</li>

<p>Shoebox what is your opinion on Hereford (single or double) for the second year? How does the cost compare to the other options for second year housing?</p>

that calendar gives the tiniest glimpse into the registrar's schedule... crazyyyy
btw 1st yrs get screwed for spring registration... just so you know.</p>
<p>re: hereford: see virginia.edu/housing it has a nice comparison chart. as for off grounds it widely varies.</p>
<p>Arch- if you're going to do on-grounds housing second year, I highly recommend Lambeth. Not to hate on Hereford, but I think you might want something a little more social and reserved for upperclassmen.<br>
As for comparing it against off-grounds stuff, I'm not sure what to say. Cost-wise, it's about it in the middle of off-grounds housing. Quality-wise, compared to off-grounds, it's near the bottom.</p>
<p>However good Runk is, I'd lose my mind living in Hereford...it's just way too quiet for me. Cost wise, it's about the same as anything else on-grounds.</p>

<p>irc is pretty chill. it is mid-distance from cabell (farther than brown, closer than lambeth), and they (like brown) have a huge budget to throw events and go places.</p>
