I liked the list. Since D is in the application stage, and still willing to add schools, it’s fun to use it as a springboard for further research. As you said - just a list!</p>
<p>I’m guessing these lists came from things like College Board searches or the like. Hence my curiosity - why would a school with a music program NOT show up? I can certainly understand the real heavy hitters not showing up (as in, if you don’t already now about us, you’re not good enough to go here), but here’s an example:</p>
<p>Gettysburg is a popular LAC school choice for our HS. My friend keeps telling me that when they’re on tours they are really pushing their conservatory program (Sunderman). Nobody on this board seems to have any real info, and they keep missing the lists. Is it poor marketing, or a poor program. Sorry - this sounds like a hijack, but it’s more stream of conciousness.</p>
