Do i have a better chanse to get admitted do an Ivy school,if i do NOT require a scolarship ?

I also am wondering about this. If you say you won’t apply for financial aid does that give a better chance for admission?

No. All of the Ivies have need-blind admissions, meaning that they don’t consider if you need financial aid/how much financial aid you need in making admissions decisions.

So,when i apply to Dartmouth ,Brown ,Harvard or Princeton ,it does NOT matter if i can pay 0 $ ,10 k $ or 50k $ ??
But,if so,why there is a tuition fee of 36 000 if you dont need to pay in order to be accepted ?

EDIT:Of course it is scholarship, not scolarhip.

Ivan, the IVY schools are need blind in their admission policy which means they will only consider an applicant’s qualification in their admissions decisions without the regard of the applicant’s financial need. These schools have large endownments so they can give financial aids to all students if that’s what they need. However, they never said you do not need to pay if you have money and a fair number of their students are actually paying some amount to the school. What they mean is that you need to pay what you can afford but if you cannot afford much they will not hold that against you in your application for admissions.

I’m not sure about aid for internationals. Even if admission is need blind, do all the ivies meet need for internationals? I know that not all schools do.
