Just a question

Can you apply ED/EA to more than one school? I thought that you couldn't but then there are people here who are applying early action/decision to more than one school...

You can only apply to one school ED, though you may apply to multiple schools under an EA plan assuming it is not SCEA (Single Choice Early Action)

You can't apply to more than one school for ED because if you're accepted to that school, it's binding. Single Choice Early Action limits you to apply EA to one school but for everything EA that's not SCEA, you can apply to more than one school.

If you more information, here's the collegeboard.com page on ED/EA: http://www.collegeboard.com/student/apply/the-application/104.html

Oh okay then...

thanks :)

You cannot apply ED to more than one school. However, whether you can apply EA to more than one college depends on the particular rule the college follows. Most that have ED allow you to apply EA elsewhere. Many that have EA also allow you to apply EA and even ED elsewhere. However, some have stricter policies, for example, Stanford and Yale have single choice early action and if you apply EA to one of those you are prohibited from applying ED or EA elsewhere. Thus, you need to check the rules of each college to which you intend to apply and see which rule each follows.

okay, thanks.........
