Just a quick question for transfer..

I just got into UC Davis, and waitlisted for UCSD for Computer Science. This semester, I dropped my Data Structures class, and decided this major was just not for me. I'm planning on doing Pharmacy. I'm not sure if I should notify UCSD of my major change yet, as I found a form to email on my application.. Would it negatively affect me if I informed them that I would change my major?
I have a TAG with UCI as well. I wasn't planning on transferring this year, and was going to wait another year because I haven't finished General Chem. I was planning on finishing this summer, but because I thought I wouldn't transfer, I chose to take a Bio class, so next year I could transfer in with a semester of O Chem and all my Bio complete.

Any help as to what I should do? Should I notify any Universitys of my major change and drop Bio to take Chem this summer? Or would I be fine taking Bio this summer and completing Gen Chem if/when I transfer? Thanks!

Have you informed them that you dropped that class? You have to do that ASAP no mater what.

Nope, I did not… Should I inform them of my major change as well?

You should talk to UCSD and UC Davis, as well as your CC counselor. Find out what your options are. I know if you accept a spot at UCSD they may not let you switch your major. Find out if you will have that option.

Think about what you want. Decide if another year at CC to do more soul searching on what your passion is might be a good idea. You might be able to start fresh as a Chem major at a UC.
