Just a thought.

I was thinking, i think I really want to apply wherever I do as a social sciences major, but I still want to be a doctor. I'm getting my letters of recommendation from my English teacher and calculus teacher. Does this seem kind of weird?

no, i actually saw an article recently about how humanities majors have higher admit rates to med schools.(compared to bio majors) let me see if i can find it for you

You’ll be fine. Med schools don’t care what you major in. They want you to complete the premed requirements, get excellent grades in all your classes and do well on the MCATs.
