We all work so hard in high school.. arg, for what? Doesnt it seem like the whole high school experience is ruined with the fear of "not getting in".. and most of us by the time senior year rolls around realize that the college that we really wanna end up going to is our state school.. and i mean ALL THE WORK in high school.. for what.. its not like these 4 years ever come back.. lol.. can u tell, lots of hw tonight.. haha.. I dont know.. what do u guys think..

I've made it a point to make sure my number one concern in high school is enjoying high school, not getting into college.

I never worried about college until spring of Junior year when the College Counselors talked to us in class. I look back on my high school career and see decisions that have possibly hurt my chances at some colleges. But I'm still glad I made those decisions.

This forum is full of students who I personally think are missing the point of high school.

I <3 my high school experience. Except for the people here - I'm sick of the same people after 11 years. But I don't think not focusing on college would have changed that :P.

I'm having a good highschool experience. I've had my ups and downs - gossiping, backstabbing, crying, laughing with evilness, being confused with what I am doing in the world, etc..
But I have a good balance between my work life and social life. I love nearly all my subjects, I have a big group of friends that I can rely on (well some can't be trusted but oh well), I have many acquintences that I usually gossip about, I'm healthy, I'm getting good grades this year, I have competition, my sports are great, and I can see i'm developing and improving in many things. But mostly, I'm giving 110% effort in balancing my social life and everything else. If I didn't have a social life, I would probably end up all shrivelled up lol

I look back 2 years ago and I cherish that year. Whn I'm 30, I'll prob look back at my highschool years and not regret about anything (i hope).
