Just about how good is direct hits vocabulary?

I seem to be doing pretty well in CR in general, usually only missing 1 or 2 passage based answers. However I miss somewhere around 3 questions that are based on the vocab words in each section.

Will learning every word in direct hits 1 & 2 before my first SAT help me or am I still gonna miss a bunch?

Learning all the words will obviously help you rather than cause you to do worse so you might as well do it.

Nope, it will help you ALOT!!!

The more words you know the better. DH is good because it just condenses all the important words you need know, but obviously there are a lot of words lacking from the books.

Yeah learning more words could only improve your score, but vocab is much harder to up your score in than another subject. If your math or writing scores had problems that you missed, your time might be better spent upping those.

There are hundreds of vocab words but limited amounts of math/writing concepts that are tested. Logically it’s much easier to improve math or writing. I studied vocab after I took it the first time and my score didn’t change by more than one question. I studied math and my score drastically increased.
