After a long month of going between Dartmouth, Berkeley, and Columbia, and having done hours of research and consideration, I finally settled on Dartmouth. It feels like a huge weight off my chest, and I'm really happy with my decision.

congrats! you made the best choice

ME TOO!! i feel sooo relieved! i was deciding between Brown and Dartmouth, and I was reluctant to leave behind the open curriculum and the big (well, bigger than Hanover) city... but I think I knew that Dartmouth was for me five minutes after I stepped onto campus for Dimensions.
YAY for us half_baked! i can't wait to see you in the fall

CONGRATS to you tens. :)

yay! more awesome people to go to Dartmouth with! I just faxed mine yesterday and I'm so happy...I thought I'd be happy at UPenn but Dimensions totally proved me wrong! (by the way...great job on the awesome "welcome" to whoever performed!)

yeah i've seen a lot of you on this board for as long as i've been here, and i have to say, i'm glad that we all decided to go to dartmouth. see you all in the fall.

halfbaked, dude, you made a good choice. hope you love D as much as I did.... just don't get in trouble as much as i did.

Yeah, I just got the email confirmation today :)

Seriously half_baked, I pormise you it will be the best decision you ever made! Go Dartmouth!

well, same news here! after deciding between UPenn, Cornell, and D-mouth i've decided to join the big green...dimensions won me over without a doubt...can't wait for the fall!

Yeah, I was an ED admitted and I was having a hard time deciding between Princeton and Dartmouth to ED. I guessed I could feel myself lying on the green at Dartmouth under the sunshine engrossing in my daily readings. I guess I just bleed green since birth, GO DARTMOUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations on choosing Dartmouth.

I really cannot tell you how they do it at other schools, but I have never seen anything like what Dartmouth does as far as having a sense of community that begins the moment you are officially the class of 2010. Its almost like having a baby; everyone is so excited at the prospect of your arrival. From being greeted by the H-crew at the beginning of your DOC trip, to doing the salty dog rag when the trip comes to a close. Having orientation where you are the guest of honor and everything is planned with you in mind (last year 12 days, 165 events).

Youll go to convocation, matriculation and having your group picture taken where you will forever be the class of 2010. Youll be celebrated at homecoming as you run around the bonfire ten times wearing your 10 jerseys, some having your face painted but everyone having a good time. Youll want to host prospies because you want them to know how special Dartmouth is and how next year they can have the same amazing experience.

For those that are students and alumni, I think their blood really does run green. Their decision to attend is something that resonates in their spirit. They chose Dartmouth and they dont look back concerning the what ifs because for them it is the right place for them.

The class of 2010 will be a stellar group as all those before them. Congratulations, you are in for the ride of your life and I hope that you enjoy every moment of it.

i have a quick question

for those of you who sent in the form to dartmouth by mail, did you need a stamp? I'va had a crazy few days sending things out and now i'm freaking out because i can't remember if i put a stamp on it. haha.

dont think so. it was one of those business reply envelopes.

sybbie, you're giving away too much!!!!
