If this is not possible, what are the best options available being accepted to the College?

you could always major in neoclassical economics

Penn's Econ departments are very strong. Maybe a double major with econ and international relations or history?

What about getting a degree from Wharton and one from the College?

see. this is what I'm talking about. Wharton is the only good part of penn

I really regret not applying to it directly :/

says the idiot.

edit: thanks a lot max for posting in front of me so it looks like i was talking to you instead of semp. seriously, thanks man.

damn it, ruins EVERYTHING, that guy.

ohhhh so semp is back :p

Does anyone know how to answer my question though? :)

I'm pretty sure there are placement exams for everything, max.

Meaning...? I just don't know what to do now with what I have :/ I'd really like the best options available.

why do people always try to use CAS as a backdoor? If someone wanted to go to wharton, they should have applied there in the first place?

I wasn't trying to use it as a backdoor. I'm not afraid of admission rates (I got into a bunch of other wonderful schools)... it's just that my interests and goals have changed.

Look up the required courses for Wharton like Econ 001, 002, etc. (it's somewhere on the Wharton page under internal transfers) and register for those. Get a 3.7+ GPA and you should be in good shape to transfer.

What DISADVANTAGES do I have not getting into Wharton freshman year? As in, what becomes of that first year if I do in fact transfer?

Nothing really happens. If you take the required courses and transfer successfully, I think it would be pretty much the same as if you had been in Wharton all along.

What is the transfer process like? Do you have to get recs/etc all over again? etc. What if I wish to doublemajor?

Nope. Just keep that GPA over 3.7 and you're set.

Excellent! So as long as I take some required Wharton classes and own them I'm good to go for doublemajor?

well, basically own all of ur classes and ur good to go.
