ILR school says that submitting your ACT scores exempts you from having to submit SAT I and SAT II (math). Obviously they are not lying, but this sounds too good to be true (especially in my case (2150 SAT but a 620 Math IC....buuutttt a 32 ACT Composite). My question is, if I just submit my ACT's will I be at some kind of disadvantage (like do they say they are equal, but in reality nobody actually just submits ACT's?) How common is it for kids in ILR just to submit ACT's? Do you know anybody who has gotten in doing this?

If they say it's equal, it's equal. They're not out to screw you.

I submitted both even though I did much better on my ACT. It's not like your SAT is bad or anything. I don't think it matters.

My son didn't even take the SAT, and he got in.

i only submitted my ACT and was accepted
