Just An (below) Average Asian

Asian Male, Massachusetts, Public School
Alright... I've just started junior year and I haven't been doing much about entering college after high school. I realize I'm not the caliber for the ivies so here's where I'm planning to apply to:
-Brandheis (reach)
-Boston University (match)
-Worcester Polytechnic (match)
-Bates College (no idea)
... and thats all I have for now. I prefer colleges in New England cause I've lived there most my life and love it.
I'm also considering whether or not to apply for Air Force ROTC and I'm planning on majoring in economics (or some else that's business related) or aerospace engineering.

And here's the train wreck:
Haven't taking the new SATs yet. Took the old one in 6th grade and got 1250/1600.
Psats sophmore year: got around 225
Taking all honors classes (my school has very few APs). GPA 3.76 UW.
Took AP European History sophmore year got a 4.
No Sat IIs yet.
Class Rank 8-16/200ish

ECs...
Football 2 years, award Freshman yr
Wrestling 1 year
Lacrosse 2 years, award Freshman yr, JV captain
Won gold last year in Science Fair
Spent summers interning at a biotech company
Ping Pong 2 years, managerial position this year (club sport)
So yeah... it'll be great if you could chance me on my picks (suggestions to go high or lower would be smashin') and whether I'd have a shot at ROTC. I've been pretty lax on academics the past two years and I'm sorry if there isn't much information to work with.
Thank you.

well, first of all it's Brandeis
and Worchester

that said, your chances look about as good as mine and I'm applying to ivy-caliber schools.

*Worcester, also called 'Woosta by the locals ;)

You're a great candidate. I'd say you're in at all your schools. That sophomore PSAT is impressive. Grades are good and you have some extracurriculars. Nice job, have confidence, take hard classes.
