I never considered USC since I got no money, but now I am leaning towards it... I just checked out housing and realized its basically first come first serve.

will I get nothing?

Don't worry; May 1 is the deadline for guaranteed freshman housing. You might not get your first choice, but you'll get something. There really is no "dreaded dorm". Every on-campus dorm/apartment has pluses (and minuses!)

yeah I know I'll get SOME
I think my order was
Flour
Birkrant
Pardee
Radisson
North

I have a feeling im getting radisson

Radisson is actually pretty cool. That's where I'd live if I could choose now. You get AC, a bathroom oh and a spa.

Like CC said, there isn't anywhere that is awful. My freshman year I lived in Trojan Hall and I loved it.

^trojan hall.. really? haha I used to go over there all the time when I was a freshie because of my friend but at first it reminded me a lil bit of.. prison. (brick walls and low ceilings, sorry) i got used to it though. Trojan hall rooms are kinda tiny though compared to birnkrant (or least my room o.O)

but yeah all the dorms are alright so you'll be satisfied with most of them I think.

when do you think new/north fills up by? i put new north halls as my top four choices so hopefully ill get one, i applied on april 11th. what do you think? birnkrandt was my fifth choice

Birnkrant and New/North usually fill by late March or early April but with the smaller class this year that could change.
