Just applied to MSU...chances??

I just applied to Michigan State University as a political science/pre-law major on the 2nd. I was just wondering if anyone had a good idea of what my chances are for getting in.

3.27 GPA w/36 transferrable credits @ accredited Michigan Community College.
All challenging classes. No Withdraws.

I believe my essay for application was really good and creative.

Chances??

On the surface, I'd say you're in pretty good shape. When I was at MSU in the early 90s, someone transferred in from a Michigan cc with about your avg. I've been told that it's easier to transfer in rather than be admitted from HS as MSU looks at you has having already done college-level work... But admissions overall is tougher nowadays, so I'd cover myself with a call or e-mail to the Office of Admissions. Also, even though your cc is accredited, I’m not if all your credits would transfer – depends, I’m sure, on the curriculum you plan to study, major in… you need to check w/ MSU.
