Just curious, but how many periods does your school offer?

If I didn't make it clear, I just meant how many class slots you have. I've heard of schools operating with up to 10. (Or something like that, if I was listening right)

Personally, my school offers 6.

Extra Credit: For those with more than 6 APs, are you getting to the point where you might run out of APs? How many are self studies and how many would you consider "heavyweight" classes?

My school has seven periods. But has six each day. Its in a rotation, so for example: one day its period A to F, the next day we drop F and get G for first period. It may complicated but its really good. Because of that I managed to take an extra class that I was interested in.

Nine. One is lunch.

My son’s has 8 periods, but one is a study hall or resource time that the whole school has at the same time, so he takes 7 classes per semester.

7, 8:45 to 3:45

but, seniors can take early bird (7:30-8:15) so I get leave at 3!

4 classes per day with 2 semesters, each 90 days. I think we offer around 20 APs, I know a kid that has completed 16 of them.

Ocho.
We take 8 classes that last all year round.
But nobody’s ever run out of APs, since they’re only offered one or two periods that overlap, and my school offers plenty.

We have 8 classes, but since I’m taking a class at a University during 2-4, I have those hours off.

Which means on Tuesdays (like today) and Thursdays, I get to go home for three hours before I go back to school. It’s awesome.

I have 7. An online 8th at home. And soon to be 9th for physics.

x.x Two periods which are about an hour and a half long at the end of the day. Joy.

We start at 7:55. I get out at 4:40. But my teacher takes pity on us and lets us out ten minutes early.

[It’s not so bad–I’m doing something I enjoy. xD]

Mine is exactly like toxic93’s. Though second block is a double block.

7 periods, baby. 8:25-3:40.

Monday, Tuesday, Friday is all 7
Wednesday is 2, A Class You Choose (extra help in APs, art classes, SAT Prep, etc.), 4, 6
Thursday is 1, 3, 5, 7

We will never run out of AP classes. There are 25.

6 :c.

Block schedule, so it’s pretty gewd.

8 classes throughout the year (you could add a few extra classes to take after school or early in the morning if you want)

It wasn’t much of a problem until my junior year because I seriously started getting homework from like all my classes. Absolute overkill.

7 periods at my school from 9-4. Seniors can take 5 classes if they will still have enough credits to graduate.

8 periods. and one period is required lunch is for lunch (that is if you want lunch…)

8 periods. and one period is
for lunch (that is if you want lunch…)

Four periods, two sets. 1 and a half hours long.

One set per semester. But it really hurts for freshman and sophomore because we can’t take AP’s until our Jr. year.

There IS one, but t’s AP World History. And regular WH is required for freshman. So I didn’t take it.

We do 8 a year.Four 90 minute periods a day with alternating days.
Extra Credit:
A precocious student entering my school next year could take about 15 AP classes before graduating. The only ones I missed were Biology, Government, Psychology, Spanish, Economics, and Environmental Science. I’ll sit for Government, Economics, and Psych this spring regardless, and I already 5’d Environmental Science after taking a standard level course in it.

You guys are in school for a long time. School starts at 8:45-2:23 for me.
