Just curious...

Is anybody here a SWILlie?

whats a swillie?

(non)member of SWIL (Swarthmore Warders of Imaginative Literature), a roleplaying/gaming/other stuff club at Swat.

Oh, God, you don't want to know the kind of rumors I heard about them when I was on campus. Most of them were just ridiculously exaggerated and everyone knew they were jokes, but-- dear god-- if even a fraction of it is true...

Lol! I wanna hear!

I think that much of the Swarthmore LJ community is, but that's not here, so that really didn't answer the question at all.

When I visited, my host was /very/ unnerved by Swillies...she was asking what I like to do and cautiously asked "You're not into...fantasy, are you?"

I randomly wandered over to ML, though (almost getting lost in the process) and the (three) people I met were all very nice, and all were/had been in SWIL.

My host/his friends were also very unnerved by Swillies. The LJ community is full of them, and they all seem fine online. I guess they are in their element online, though.
