Hi, I'm accepted into Marshall School of Business this year in business administration. Although most of my applications focused on business majors, I'm really not quite sure what I want to study yet. I am interested in computer science and EXTREMELY interested in getting a B.S. in computer science Games. So at first I was really glad to hear that there is a combined program of business administration and computer science so I can get a double major by simply applying, but now I'm really worried if it would be difficult to get in the program, or if it is out of my mind to change my major to CS Games. Please be informative and point out any mistakes I made!

My son is in a similar situation. He is a USC Spring Admit to Dornsife as Undecided. Viterbi Admissions said sign up for the CS Games classes, get at least a 3.0, fill out the paperwork and you are “in”. The hard part is getting into USC. Getting the major is far easier.

To transfer into any major in Viterbi (including CS games), you literally just have to fill out a form and you’re officially a “pre-engineering” major. Then, as long as you make B’s or better in your engineering classes for the next semester, you will be admitted to the major. Some of the other schools are a bit more selective though. Hope this helps :)
