I just failed AB calculus with a 68. I am terrified at what this might do to my RD chances.. However, i've dropped the class but have moved up to AP english...i want to be a international relations major....could this just blow me out of consideration? And i'm a student who relies heavily on upward trend and hard circumstance.

Ok, I’m just going to be honest here. I’m not sure dropping out of Calc because you failed was a good decision. Georgetown admissions wants to see you trying and doing your best in tough classes even if your grade may suffer because of it. When you get to college, you can’t drop a class because you fail if that class is important for your major or for various other reasons. Math classes will be tougher in college so think about that because you will have to take Calc again wherever you choose to go.
