Just found out I'm not eligible to do TAG. What should I do?

Currently, my GPA is a 3.26 (a 3.31 according to UCLA's formula).

I guess I'm kinda upset that my chances to getting into UCLA are very slim. Today I found out that I can't do TAG with the other schools because I'm an AB540 student. So that means I just have to go with whatever I have. I will bring my GPA up by the end of this fall, but IDK if they will take into consideration my newer grades and GPA.

So aside from UCLA, what are my chances to get into the other UCs if I'm not eligible for TAG.

the other option is to wait until next fall and try to apply again. By that time I'll have a more solid and stronger GPA, still I don't know if my chances will change

I think AB540 students are eligible.

cool thanks!

I was talking to a counselor earlier and he told me that I wasn’t eligible for being an AB540 student

Make sure to confirm that at all UC campuses you’re interested in, and to make sure there isn’t anything else that disqualifies you (for instance, Irvine’s TAG doesn’t apply if you’ve ever attended a four-year).

If you haven’t already, you’ll quickly learn that CCC counselors are wrong as often as they’re right.
