Just get a degree & get out? Or go to a UC? And the Prospects of Transferring to USC, UCI?

Hi everyone (:

I made this account because I am really lost at the moment, and have never been able to get a counselor appointment. So I would really appreciate help and advice from you!

A little About Academic/E.C. Me: (I'm a little lacking here, so please don't be mean)
I currently have a 4.0 gpa in the Honor's Program (but I still have a few G.E. courses to take)
I'm currently working an internship at a Scuba Shop as Training Assistant/Shop hand/Anything they need me to be
I competed in the Next Great Voice Talent last year, and made top 11 in the nation (but didn't win hehe).
I performed the lead in a military PSA this year (to be released in September).

I've completed 2 years at a CC as of now (and will be entering my 3rd year/applying for transfer this fall). I chose to take my time because I wanted to take different courses to find my calling before I committed to a major... and mostly because I couldn't get any G.E. courses the first two semesters >.<.

However, even after 2 years I am still unsure of where I want to go/what I want to do.
After tons of research, I believe that majoring in business will be the best for me (because it is the most versatile for me).

Since I barely figured this out hehe, I realized that I don't have the Math credit to transfer soon. I placed into a Math that requires me to take two math courses BEFORE I can get into Calculus. Sadly, the first Math course is not available this Fall...

So I really don't know what to do... My boyfriend graduated from Oxy in 2012, and advised me to just get a degree from any school (preferably the one where I won't spend a fortune), and then enter the working world.
Do you think getting a business degree from any csu and entering the working world asap is better than staying at CC for yet another two years (so four years total) to transfer to a UC?

Also, do you think I'd be able to get into USC Marshall School or UCI Merage with my academic merit?
I'm confident in myself, and I know my own work ethic/talents. But I'm afraid that it doesn't show on paper :'(

Thank you for taking your time and reading all of this, I know I wrote a bit more than the usual, but it means a lot to me!

Spending another 2 years at a CC, especially if you are still unsure of where the additional coursework would take you, is unlikely to be productive. But nor is transferring to a 4-year university without clear career goals. What exactly does “majoring in business” mean to you? What will you do with the degree? Your options may be limited because “what shows on paper” is ultimately what matters. Should you decide and are committed to completing a 4-year degree program, then I agree with your boyfriend. Transfer to a college that will accept you with your current academic credentials. Perhaps that’s one of the CSUs.
