Just Going Crazy Waiting

I got it by email, and I’m in Texas

OMG, got wait list for my No.1 choice (T_T),anyway, still got a little chance

Rejected and very sad about it. I wanted to go really badly, also for the great communication with the school even as a prospective. Felt really like the place where they do care.

Got waitlisted as well…what r all u waitlisted applicants here doing to increase your chances???

Still haven’t gotten the email.
Is it normal?

I haven’t gotten one yet either…

Oberlin tweeted that the letters were snail-mailed earlier today; there’s even a photo of the event.

Oh god, I need to get mine soon. I got accepted by Wellesley, but wait listed by Smith and accepted for spring 2013 entrance by Mount Holyoke (I applied for fall), and the last two are getting me down. I really hope I at least get wait listed…

Wailisted at Wellesley, accepted by both Smith and Oberlin!

Good luck, you guys!

No email here in Massachusetts either.

Accepted, but I still don’t know with how much fin aid. :/

Everyone received emails? Ahhhh I haven’t…

Are all the notices coming out via email? Or just some of them and the rest snail mail?

are the people who got emails all international students?

Only international students get emails. US students need to wait for snailmail, which should arrive next week.

I don’t know if I can wait that long! Oberlin is my first choice and I’m so nervous to hear from them!

Would any of you who’ve heard news of you decision mind posting your stats?

^^^ yes please do!

I dunno about next week - if you’re relatively local you might get yours today!

I live about an hour away (so very local) and just got mine. Accepted :)

As for stats, not gonna go into too much detail but GPA was about a 3.8, 33 ACT score, some really strong extracurriculars/volunteerism/music stuff (part of the reason I applied in the first place).
