Just got a call for a Yale Alumni Interview...

I'm really happy I was contacted for one. However, I was under the impression that interview reports were due a while ago. Anyone know what may be going on?

better than never, right? It seems kind of late considering there's only a month left until we get decision letters.

I applied SCEA and I got a call from my interviewer a week before decisions, but I went anyways. I was deferred though...but you should definitely take this opportunity

I was told interviewer reports had to be in on Feb. 15th.

I meant the interview deadline is Feb. 15th. Not sure what that means. I tried to get an interview but that is what I was told. No interview for me. If the interviewer called you then go for it. I guess there are always exceptions.

:\ I hope this doesn't turn out to be frivolous. Could it be that my interviewer is unaware that reports were due a few weeks ago?

Rence, your interviewer could be clueless. If the committee hasn't looked at your app yet, then it's not too late. No way of knowing if they have.

might as well have one, it won't hurt.

I don't think it is too late. When I started with the whole college application process, I thought missing a deadline would mean rejection. But, by now, I think it doesn't really matter that much. If the main application is in, the rest (recommendations, mid-year report, interviews etc.) can come in much later than the deadline -- they just need be in before the decisions are made.
