<p>I recently applied to several colleges in California as a transfer student from Santa Monica College (Community College).
I've been accepted to UCSC, SB, and SD. I've been rejected from UCLA film.
I'm still waiting on USC, and on my first choice, Chapman.
Anyways, I just got a DUI (underage, 20) and I'm wondering if and how I should notify the colleges.</p>
<p>I know a friend who has been accepted to Pomona and did not have to report her two (felonies?) of DUI and fleeing.</p>
<p>I wouldn’t recommend notifying colleges. While most colleges are forgiving of youthful indiscretion, there is no need to make your transfer odds even slightly more difficult by bringing something like this to light. If it matters, they will investigate it themselves and tell you.</p>
