Just got Acceptance Email into NYU Steinhardt-Grad school

I received my acceptance Wed, March, 23. EXCITED AS HELL!!! Steinhardt, Educational Leadership, Politics, & Advocacy. Did the netid thingy and it worked for me, however i’m not sure if that was a 100% indicator that I was going to be accepted. Ironically, the netid and nyu number are both the same as it was before I was actually admitted. I hope you guys get in!!! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! I was one who searched night in and out, to see if I can find someone or some answers dealing with alternative/backdoor ways of knowing if you were accepted or not! If this is your school of choice, be prayful and you will be get the decision you have been waiting So IMPATIENTLY for… Believe me I know… haha

congrats on getting your acceptance letter! That is great!! Can someone tell me–what is a netid?
I am still waiting for my acceptance letter–it must be coming any day now…good luck to all!

Just got my acceptance email to the Steinhardt Music Business Master’s program this morning! I’ll post my stats later if anyone is interested, but for right now I have to go to work.

wow–many congrats!
For all of us who are still waiting, i just read on facebook that any outstanding decisions will be mailed by the end of next week. So we should all hear something soonest! Good luck to all!

I heard back on April 7th and I’m wait listed for NYU Steinhardt Music Business MA program.

I don’t know what the chances are but hoping to get in!
Any of you know what percentage of the wait listed students get accepted?

Any response would be appreciated and congrats to those who got accepted!

And also, klr293, can you post your stats? just to have an idea of if I have a chance… Thanks!! :)

I’m 22, female, and I currently live in Seattle. I graduated cum laude with a 3.7 overall GPA, 3.87 major GPA and was on the Dean’s list for 7 semesters. I studied English Literature with a concentration in British Lit. at NYU for two years before transferring to state school for financial reasons.

As far as music industry experience goes: while I was at NYU, I interned at an indie record label for a year and a half and I’ve been Bonnaroo staff for the past two summers. Also, for the past year or so I’ve been photographing the various concerts I go to (see [KLR Concert Photography](http://klrphoto.■■■■■■■■■■/) for a small sample,) which I included in my resume. My extracurriculars include years as co-captain and later, coach, of a speech and debate team, American Red Cross volunteering, and photography.

I honestly think my essay and personal data outline had a lot to do with my acceptance, because I’ve seen the stats of some of the other posters on here and I’m kind of shocked that I got in. Hope this helps!

Congrats all!

Is anyone attending the childhood special education program???

congrats!!! I applied for the educational leadership, politics and advocacy program this year, could you please tell me your stats and work experience,
