I am transferring to UCF for spring 2011 and have just been accepted. Now orientation? Its too early to even sign up but I do have one question. Ive been thinking and I want to change my major from electrical engineering to computer. Is this something I can try to do at orientation before final registration or something I do in the spring? Anybody?

Ultimate Fighting Championship? Congrats lol. Are you talking about UCSF?

I’m thinking the OP means University of Central Florida, but that was funny r0kAng3l.

OP - Call the engineering school and find out how you change your major. For some schools you can’t until after orientation, and it involves paper work - and then it’s a whole other issue if the new major is impacted (but since it seems to be in the same college at UCF, it should be easier than say trying to move over to business or lib arts or something). But they’ll have all the info you should need.

Yeah it’s in Orlando it’s called the ultimate championship fighter… hahaha.
@ sundoll – I guess I would ask at orientation to see what they think… I would like to register for my classes as soon as possible though…. Could I just wait to change it until spring and sign up for the classes as if I was a CE major?
