<p>I just got the student tab in my bama account but i noticed there was a hold on my registration. Hold Type: Register only at orientation Reason: None given Affected: registration. Is this normal for an incoming freshmen</p>
<p>YES! You will not be able to register for classes until your orientation session, hence the “register only at orientation” message. On the 2nd day (if you attend the 2-day session), your reg hold will be lifted, and you will go ahead and sign up for classes. This process will be explained to you…and there is much in old threads about it. No sweat! :)</p>
