Have any of you heard anything worth noting about Siena College? I just got accepted, though I don't know much about it...their website doesn't give much info. so I'm hoping you guys can help! Thanks!

Why apply if you don't know whats going on?

To give myself more choices, just incase i don't get into the other colleges I want to. It's in a convienent location, private, and has psychology as a popular major. Plenty of people will apply to places just for kicks.

You need to visit. I did a driveby/drivethrough with my son a few years ago and ... it looked like a big high school. YMMV.

Sienna was never seriously on his list - but he had a coach from there calling him so he needed to eyeball the place.

Really? I've actually heard one of its strengths is how beautiful the campus is. Strange...it's a private school so I find it hard to believe it looks like a high school haha. But yea I'm going to go see it for myself...thanks for the post!

if you're fine with an extremely preppy lacrosse playing, peroxide blonde, abercrombie like environment, you'll love it there. otherwise...eh.

The most obnoxious, conceited person I've ever met is going there, if that helps. haha

Haha...thanks guys...honestly anything no matter how small helps! I don't mind preppy girls lol. I live on Long Island but I prefer urban clothing like Ecko. As long as the girls don't have a problem with it, It's fine.

i go to siena...it's alright..kinda like high school with all the gossip/drama and people not minding their own business....its a great place if ur very social...easy to meet ppl but ppl usually stay in their own cliques....

what the heck is siena? is that a high school... jk:)

it's better known around the new york region, so maybe those folks can help out

My little brother actually went there twice for the JHU CTY summer program. The campus is definately nice to look at. He was at first freaked out about the crucifixes that were in the spots where one would assumer clocks to be, but besides that it's great. Oh, another complaint he had was the lack of AC in the boys' dorms (Ryan Hall), but you shouldn't worry about that if you don't plan on studying over the summer.
