Waitlisted

Ahhh! Me too. Not sure how to feel about it.

How does waitlist work? Chances/reactions? Will someone please explain? Thanks!

Me too! :(

me too…

wait-listed as well…

If I choose to wait and say “no” to all other colleges, there’s no guarantee that I will get admitted to JHU, correct?

^
Don’t do that! Accept another college, hope for the best for JHU.

Oh ok, that’s allowed… whew, didn’t know and was starting to get worried. lol

But then I’ll lose the deposit at another school… Gotta think about this and see if it’s worth it.

Still waiting for BU, Cornell, Carnegie, and Penn and starting to get worried, though I did see a post about someone who got waitlisted at JHU but accepted at Cornell. Guess I’ll have to wait and see.

Good luck to everyone!

Is there a link to the “check application” page?

Waitlistees keep your heads up. I know of lots of people who have accepted waitlist spots at their dream schools and ultimately got in.

I was waitlisted as well. And just got an email from BU as well— Accepted!!

wow, there are a lot of wait listed applicants. me included :)

my D has been waitlisted too!!

wait-listed here. It seems like there are so many waitlistee’s this year; do you guy think it has to do with worry over the economy in terms of yield?

waitlisted too…eh, i’m going to berkeley.

Rejected. T_T
It was my first choice too…
I wonder if it was because of my family’s income… (JHU isn’t need-blind for international students… And my parents combined income in US dollars ~$40,000.)
I suppose I don’t have a chance for Ivy League now…
Might as well go to a Canadian school… :)
