I got my ACT score and got a 30... 30.25 to be exact. I knew that I did not do too well.. When I practice I would get 33+, but I only got a 30. Anyways, assuming that my ACT score does not go higher in June, what colleges am I looking at with a 4.2 Weighted GPA after Junior year? Is a 30 a good score (34 math, 29 english, 31 reading, 27 science). Thanks guys!

They have data on (almost?) every college in the United States, including SAT/ACT ranges. Also, I think they have a tool to find colleges which fit you.

ok thanks. Any one else?

yeah i got a 29 on my ACT. i am freaking out, but i’m going to take it in september.

colleges like berkeley, ucla, u michigan…your ACT score falls into the median range

ok thanks! Do u think I have a shot at IVY leagues with this score and with a 4.0 UW and good ECs?

As someone noted above, there’s all kinds of data about the stats of admitted students at different schools, not to mention information about the percentage of applicants who get accepted. I think you’ll find that Ivy league admission is a long shot for the vast majority of students.

OMG, Seriously? You did excellent! You got nothing to worry about, I think your score is pretty competitive.

What an absolutely atrocious and macabre score. Not only do you bring disgrace to the elite collegeconfidential brethren, but you will probably have to, dare I say it, attend community college. That is, if they even accept you. Never post here again; I don’t want to see such a horrific score–nor any mention of such a thing.

That post totally embodies the attitude of waaaaay too many people on this website. You made my day.
@36actbrah I once saw somebody say “just try to get a perfect score next time” and they thought it was legitimate advice
