Just got my housing contract....

I got put on the Hill... Woohoo!!!!

The building is Mary Markley, can someone give me some information on the building?

Is there wireless internet? What are the rooms like? What kind of reputation does it have?

Thanks a ton!!!

I got put in South Quad.

Anything about the dorm?

I personally think Markley is a ****ty dorm. Its a freshman dorm and I have friends who liked it. MoJo is much nicer and much quieter with generally focused residents. My perception of Markley is that of a party dorm.

Aren’t South Quad and West Quad pretty much all-upperclassmen? That would suck if I was one of the only Frosh around. But I guess it’s better than North campus. Anyways, can anyone tell me anything about West?

Anybody know about this dorm.

Oxford as well. it’s small, like 300 people. don’t know much else.

me and my friend got east quad. anyone know anything about that one?

Im in markley too.

as for party dorm I did substance free so…

Did you all get emails, or was it a contract in the mail for housing?

came by email

Markley as well.

markley as well!

Markley here too!

oxford for me

Do they still yell out the windows, “west quad sucks!”…“south quad sucks.” ???

Oxford! It’s on the hill and is supposedly a really tight-knit dorm with about 350 people. I personally am really relieved and excited!!

MoJo. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MRC <3

Markley is by far the best dorm for freshman. If you’re into meeting a bunch of people and going out to parties, than Markley is what you want. The rooms are a bit small, but you learn to deal with it. The food is decent and it definitely makes it easier to have a cafeteria within the dorms so you don’t have to walk to mojo everyday.

I got an email about my housing contract and it doesn’t say anywhere where I’ve been placed…

You have to pick your mail plan and then submit. It then tells you housing and how much/when payments are do.
