I got an 800 on my math SAT, and then FAILED pre-calc, didn't get higher than a 68 on any test, couldn't get it together at all... I've posted for chances before but things recently changed for the worse definately after this years grades, and I want to know where I stand now. I will have multiple C's on my transcript for year grades (one C-)... and a GPA that is no higher than 3.1, could dip as low as 2.7/2.8...

i wouldnt stress too much about the precalc thing...your SATs are pretty amazing (1540!!!) and the football captain thing is definitely a good pull.

most of the schools you listed seem pretty much in reach...and its really not all about the GPA. yeah its important, but a 3.0 isnt going to like kill your chances or anything. some may be reach schools like lafayette or lehigh...but you never know! your essay or one of your other strenghts may catch their eye and that would get you in.

just try not to worry too much...and more importantly dont drive yourself nuts reading all the posts on here where people are like "OMG i got a 2380 DO YOU THINK I RUINED MY CHANCES AT HARVARD?!" haha

overall, i honestly think that with your stats you will be fine and get into a good number of schools on your list.

Really? you think a 2300 would put me over the edge? I' was thinking a 1540 was where I wanted to stay, for fear that it looks worse that I took it multiple times
