Just got notified about my alumni interview...what to expect?

I submitted my ED application just a few days ago and already got an email about scheduling my alumni interview.

What are these interviews usually like? Should I come prepared to show a resume of some sort? I know that they don't usually play a factor at all in admissions.

i heard they're pretty informal. the adcom who came to my school told me the interviews are more informative than evaluative. they'll just talk about their own experiences and share and answer your questions (ask them!!) but they'll ask you simple questions like why penn.

They play a factor if you are on the bubble or if you reveal yourself to be crazy in some way. Take it not seriously at your peril.

I brought a resume and transcript to all my interviews, but nobody ever looked at them. =(

I wouldn't recommend it. A couple of them even flat-out told me they wanted it to be a discussion and not an examination of my achievements since that's already in my application.
