Just got SATs, chance me please!

Hey! I'm a junior, and I go to a pretty competitive public school, top 4% in the state I belive.

GPA: 3.83 W 3.73 UW
Very hard schedule, almost the hardest possible
Top 15%

SATs: CR: 650 M: 780 W: 700 1430/1600 and 2130/2400

SAT IIs: Math 1: 780 Physics: 740

ACTs: composite 32

I work a lot, almost 500 hours total at a tennis clinic
140 hours of community service, work around my county, worked in costa rica
captain of tennis team
started a tennis stringing business
Model UN 3 years
camp counselor 1 summer

I really really want to go to Vanderbilt, I'll probably apply ED to Peabody, and I'm from the north east which I've heard gives better chances for admissions, but I think its less now than it was a few years ago

So...
Vanderbilt ED
Johns Hopkins
Boston U
U Miami
U Delaware
UConn
Connecticut College
U Michigan
Georgetown (super reach I know)

thanks!

ED to Peabody? That is the school of education. You won't have a problem gettng in Peabody, it is a whole separate admissions process!

it also has the hod program, which i am very interested in
i would not be going into education, but the program within peabody interests me
also they said that it is fairly easy to transfer once you are in any of the schools, so if i wanted to transfer into arts and sciences before sophmore year it should be no problem

bump, please help

bump, help please

i think you'll get into vanderbilt if you apply ED. i had 4 friends get in this year w/ stats right around yours. i don't know how competitive peabody admissions are, but you should be ok.

I think you have a good shot at all of your schools (including Gtown) so long as you have awesome essays and awesome recs....i might incorporate the tennis thing into one of your essays to show your passion
