Just Had My Princeton Interview....

I think it went AWSOME... my interviewer was genuinely interested in me and we talked for about an hour

so ya, I 'm pumped.... but I doubt I have a chance to make Princeton lol

i wish i had an interview. but i'm not giving up hope. i'm international so ....

and coolkash$, do not give up hope !

haha thanks for the vote of confidence, I just don't want to get my hopes up lol

and have it crashing down

what did ya talk about cool?

I have mines next saturday -_-

the person who is interviewing me is a Woodrow Wilson Scholar.... uh oh

mine is tonight.

and as divine providence would mandate....i have a very, very sore throat.

me too. i have mine tonight at 8 pm
i'm getting prepared right now
good luck to you, zelda

I asked her about the town, dorms, and eating-clubs and she gave me a great and detailed view of all of them

then I asked her about if the setting and buildings reminded her about Harry Potter, cuz it was in a list somewhere on one of the most 'harry potter'-like schools... haha she laughed at that and said she could see that

i had mine tonight as well. Overall I was really happy with how it went. It lasted about 1 1/2 hours, and my interviewer had only expected it to last an hour, so maybe that's a sign that he was interested in what we were talking about. But anyway... how can you tell that an interview was good? What makes a great interview? I mean... I felt like i did well, but really how do I know? Any indicators that you can think of?

also... my interviewer gave me his business card. it has a business address and an email address on it. which do you think is better for a thank you: a hand written note mailed to the business address? or a thank-you email? (if it makes a difference, we corresponded by email when we were setting up the interview) thanks for the input

i had mine last night...lasted about an hour.

she didn't really ask about me. it was more like she wanted me to ask questions. but, she was very friendly and we both were talkative and bubbly, so i guess it worked.

she did light up when i said i wanted to do creative writing and at the end she said that "she has nothing but amazing things to write about [me]"

i take that as a good sign, i guess :)

she said that "she has nothing but amazing things to write about [me]"

^^ My interviewer didn't say anything along those lines. I wish he had though, so I would have a better idea of the kind of impression i made. the closest he came to saying that was "your story sounds a lot like mine". He probably has talked to so many amazing interviewees that maybe I felt like the interview went better than he did. Oh well... I hope he has a positive report for me.

I just had mine and my interviewer was fascinating and we had a great discussion. How much weight do you think their write-ups count for?
